Back in September, Tesla released a software update that improved the effectiveness of the radar technology used by its Autopilot hardware. Now there’s dashcam footage that shows the technology in action. The video captures an accident occurring moments after Tesla’s Autopilot alert goes off.
The accident happened on a highway in the Netherlands. The dashcam was in a Tesla Model X. In the footage, you can hear the Tesla Autopilot Forward Collision Warning go off seconds before a collision occurring before the driver’s eyes.
