The newly announced Star Wars: Battlefront 2 may have revealed something Rey’s going to do in The Last Jedi. Another new Spider-Man featurette focuses on Iron Man. Meanwhile, Marvel cameos abound, a pile of reboot news, and John Wick. Spoilers ho!
Deadpool 2
Deadline reports that actress Shioli Kutsuna has been cast in a “key” role, though details of her character remain undisclosed.

Black Panther
Chadwick Boseman posted a photo of himself alongside Mark Ruffalo, seen outfitted in his traditional purple attire. A random set visit, or has the Hulk just been confirmed for a cameo?
Can’t thank this guy and you all enough for all of the #BlackPanther love. Immensely grateful! pic.twitter.com/WoKRhK0sDP

Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Leaked gameplay footage from Star Wars: Battlefront 2 seems to depict Rey wielding a brand-new lightsaber. The saber’s hilt appears to resemble the green-bladed one Luke Skywalker built for himself in Return of the Jedi — not the one belonging to Anakin she brings him at the end of The Force Awakens. Since Rey’s seen carrying a blue one here, the leaked footage has lead some to speculate she’ll be building her own lightsaber under Luke’s tutelage in The Last Jedi.
Avengers: Infinity War
MCU Exchange reports they have received word from a “source” that Thanos’ Black Order will not merely be his henchmen in the film, but his actual biological children. The site continues to speculate that Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight will be among them.
Elsewhere, The Russo brothers are scouring the Serengeti for Wakandan filming locations.

Bumblebee
Hailee Steinfeld spoke to the BBC about principal photography on the Transformers spinoff.
I will be shooting Bumblebee in the [United] States and working on the music at the same time. So we will see how that all pans out.
But this movie is really something special. It has a great storyline and this character that I play, who you will soon meet, is really special. So I’m very excited for people to see it.”
I am so excited I’m doing the spin-off, it’s starting very soon. It’s crazy to think about. I’m a big fan of the Transformers movies and I can’t believe I am going to be in a version of them.
The Six-Billion Dollar Man
Mark Wahlberg’s big screen adaptation of the Six-Million Dollar Man has been quietly pulled from the Weinstein’s 2017 film schedule, and will no longer make its December 22 release date, probably because it hasn’t started being filmed yet.
John Wick 3
Speaking with the Independent, director Chad Stahelski revealed a few details about the third, and allegedly final, chapter of the John Wick trilogy.
We are going to put in something about the High Table, how that all works. We’re going to put in something about where John comes from, and where he wants to go. I don’t want to say too much more, but it will be a nice completion to Mr Wick’s journey.
When asked to confirm whether this was indeed the final John Wick movie, Stahelski answered: “In our minds, yes. But I’ll let the studio answer those sort of questions.”
Mary Poppins Returns
EW has revealed that Meryl Streep’s character, Topsy, is a cousin of Mary Poppins who lives her life in “upside-downs and opposites”. Topsy will receive her own musical number written by Marc Shaiman.
Charlie’s Angels
Elizabeth Banks spoke to THR about rebooting the Charlie’s Angels franchise, which she is keen to do.
It was mentioned to me in passing at a meeting at Sony, like, “Hey, we’d love you to do something with Charlie’s Angels.” I went home and, as a lot of creative people will say, I dreamed about it. It has to stay with you, you have to visualise it, you have to have some seeds of ideas. I felt like I had a take, so I went back in and pitched it, and they really liked it.
Annabelle: Creation
Director David F. Sanberg promises the prequel film to the prequel will make chronological sense (somehow).
Annabelle Creation fits into the timeline even though we saw the doll get possessed in the first film. Exactly how spoils the end though… pic.twitter.com/xRj5BXPgTK

War for the Planet of the Apes
Caesar lobs grenades at Woody Harrelson in the latest TV spot.
Cars 3
Here’s a clip introducing demolition derby champion Miss Fritter — and a trailer hosted by her voice actress, Orange is the New Black‘s Le Delaria.
Happy Death Day
Here’s a quick trailer for the upcoming time-loop horror-comedy about a woman who must perpetually relieve the day of her murder until she can deduce who the culprit is. (And then not get murdered, presumably.)
The Gracefield Incident
And here’s a trailer for a fresh new take on the found-footage genre — a man accidentally films an alien invasion of Pumpkinhead-like monsters with a camera installed in his prosthetic eye.
Little Nightmares
THR reports that the Russo Brothers are teaming up with Henry Selick for a TV series based on the popular video game about a young girl trapped on a terrifying ship named “The Maw”.
Game of Thrones
