The Girl With All The Gifts is one of the best zombie stories I’ve read in a long time: critically acclaimed, evocative and emotional, gory and gritty. It’s also a fantastic movie by most accounts. I’ve been waiting for the film to release in Australia awhile, and imagine my surprise at finding out this morning that it’s only a week away.

Dendy will premiere The Girl With All The Gifts in Australia on October 5 at the cinema chain’s Newtown, Canberra and Portside locations, but it’ll also join Dendy’s Marquee premium on demand program a week later on October 11.
Dendy Marquee is a new program, launched last week, that brings Dendy’s films — still in cinemas — to the Dendy Direct streaming platform. That makes it a great option for anyone who wants to watch The Girl With All The Gifts who’s not in NSW, Queensland or the ACT. Dendy Direct works on PCs and Macs, iOS and Android, and supports Chromecast from both as well as having a native app on Samsung TVs.
P.S Once you’ve read the book and seen the movie, there’s a prequel out called The Boy On The Bridge. I haven’t read it yet, but I hear good things. [Dendy]
