If you’re looking to get some high data plans on the cheap, Optus may just have you sorted.
The Telco is currently flogging some 50GB and 80GB plans for 10% off. And while that may not sound like much, it now makes them some of the cheapest options for high data SIM-only plans at the moment.
The 50GB plan is down to $40.50 per month from $45 and the 80GB is down to $49.50 per month from $55.
The plans also include unlimited talk and text, data-free streaming through Spotify and Google Play Music, and a free subscription to Optus Sport.
For comparison, here are the prices on similar plans with at least 50GB of data at the moment. As you can see, the biggest contenders here are Jeenee and Vodafone, that also have $45 50GB plans. It’s worth noting that Jeenee is powered by Optus (and you get an extra 2GB with its $49.50 80GB plan) so you get the same coverage and Voda could end up a bit cheaper if you’re eligible for its loyalty discount.
