Today there are reports that Instagram is down globally. Again. Some. More.
Update 10:10am:
And it’s back! An Instagram spokesperson said this to Gizmodo Australia:
“Earlier today a technical issue caused some people to have trouble accessing their Instagram accounts. We are now fully recovered and apologize for the inconvenience.”
You can read the original story below.
According to Down Detector, users began experiencing widespread issues around 6:45am AEST Friday morning.
The majority of issues seem to be around refreshing the feed, though some users are also experiencing login issues.
This isn’t the first time that the social media platform has been hit by an outage this year. Several months back it had similar issues that prevented users from getting fresh content into their eyeballs.
There has been no indication as to what caused the outage or when it would be resolved.
Speaking to Gizmodo Australia a spokesperson for Instagram said, “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing their Instagram accounts. We’re working quickly to fix the issue.”
We’ll let you know when there’s a resolution, but in the meantime please enjoy these outage related Twitter posts.
