Oh, your tablet runs off a Tegra 2 chipset, does it? If word on the Taiwanese street is correct, Asus is working on tablets (note the plural) running on quad-core Tegra 3 processors.
We know from previous intel (snicker) handed out by Nvidia that the Tegra 3 chipset (codenamed Kal-El) will have a 12-core GPU and will be 5x more powerful than the Tegra 2 before it, plus outputs 1440p video. No word on when to expect Tegra 3, or these Asus tablets that are said to run off ’em. [Digitimes]
