Valentin Ruhry had the brilliant idea to take 5,000 of those orange rocker switches you normally see on surge protectors and power strips, and turn them into a blank canvas on which to scrawl words (or images, perhaps).
Is this not exactly like the Lite-Brite that most of us created masterpieces with as kids, one peg at a time? Granted, it’s monochrome. But what it lacks in visual flair, it makes up for in size. And if you’re in New York, you can see it for yourself. “Untitled (Hello World)” is on display at the Austrian Cultural Forum in NYC until September 5. [Valentin Ruhry via Geekosystem]
