It’s been a long wait from the launch of the Atrix locally to actually getting an upgrade from Froyo to Gingerbread. At first, it was promised for September, but that date came and went. Now, it’s finally available.
Ausdroid notes that users of the Atrix should be able to update now simply by heading to Settings>About Phone>System Updates and letting the update run, after which the phone should add Gingerbread’s features. Given that we’re expecting big Ice Cream Sandwich news later today, anyone want to start the betting on when we’ll see Ice Cream Sandwich for Atrix? [Ausdroid]
