Optus Is Shutting Down Its Mobile TV Service Because Nobody Uses It

Surely it was only a matter of time before the old Optus TV app on the Mobile Zoo got the chop. That day is October 28.

Optus has outed plans to shutter the Mobile TV app today, citing a lack of users.

On Monday 28 October, Optus will kill the service and stop billing the few active customers it has left for the product.

Thankfully, if you have an active service from 23 September, Optus is planning on giving you your last month for free. Aww.

Did you use Optus Mobile TV?
