There’s not much that can survive being hit by a train. Not even an iPhone. Turns out that when you lay one down on the tracks to become freight train fodder, it ends really badly.
This enterprising young videographer decided to see what would happen to Apple’s flagship phone if it was taped to railway tracks and run over by a locomotive. It’s fair to say that in both instances, all you’re left with is a pile of twisted metal that will take some doing to pry off the tracks.
In the second instance, the iPhone 5s’ battery pack actually caught fire as so many of them do when subjected to a massive puncture.
