It may not be a 50,000 piece Rivendell, but this sprawling Hobbiton Lego setup is impressive in its own right. Displayed at SteineWahn 2012 in Berlin, the set depicts Hobbiton right around the time of Bilbo’s birthday party, right before the trilogy kicks off.
While it’s impressive in its scope, the set also includes a bit of details, include a Bag End with a removable top and meticulously decorated interior, two additional burrows, a hollow for Gollum to hang out with, and even its own LEGO map. Chunk by chunk, fans are building a Lego Middle Earth. Now if only someone could put all the pieces together. [MOCPages via Kotaku]
