Watch The Most Patient Person On Earth Reconstruct Shredded Money Using Tweezers

Video: Do you love puzzles? Probably not as much as conceptual artist Martin John Callanan does. This mind-numbing, 11-minute timelapse shows him spending an entire work day painstakingly reassembling a £5 misprinted note that the Bank of England shredded to tiny bits.

Getting your hands on a bag of shredded out-of-circulation currency is no easy feat, so Callanan actually worked with the Bank of England to realise this video. The results crudely resemble the original bank note, but even with a healthy dose of Scotch tape, I’m doubtful any store is going to accept this as legal tender.
