Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s Cosmos Revival Is Finally Getting A Second Season

The 2014 Cosmos revival, A SpaceTime Odyssey, was a massive success, and now, finally, it’s getting the second season it deserves.

Executive produced by Seth MacFarlane and hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, the Sagan-inspired science documentary series premiered in 2014 to become the most-watched series on National Geographic, with 135 million viewers worldwide on National Geographic and Fox.

Now, a second teaser is slated to premiere in 2019, titled Possible Worlds, with MacFarlane returning as EP and Tyson returning to host. Carl Sagan, whose imaginative and thoughtful original Cosmos series was the inspiration for the 2014 revival, is something of a patron saint to us, so this is exciting news.

Fox and NatGeo have released a “Possible Teaser” for the series that you can view below.
