LG’s EA93 monitor is claims to be the first 21:9 aspect ratio monitor the world has ever seen, which makes it a multitasker’s wet dream. The monitor runs at a whopping resolution of 2560×1080, which multitasking fans can split four ways to have four things from four separate sources all on the go at once. Four videos.
The implications for watching adult material are immense. You also get audio powers inside this one for minimising desk clutter, with LG sticking in two 7W speakers.
Elsewhere, the EA93 uses IPS tech for better-viewing angels, features a DVI-D port and two HDMI connectors, alongside three USB 3.0 ports and a Display Port. That’s lots of ports.
LG seems to be pitching this at the dual-screen professional market, suggesting that instead of cluttering their desks up with multiple monitors, those that need lots of virtual workspace might prefer to use one massive super-wide monitor, doing away with the fuss of managing two. [LG]
