The iPhone 5s is the shiniest new gadget you can own, and it’s now up for pre-order on Telstra. Here’s how much you’ll pay for one.
The new iPhone 5s comes on Telstra’s Every Day Connect Plans, starting from a minimum of $78 per month on a 24 month plan for the 16GB model.
Broken down, that $78 per month works out as $60 for the plan and an extra $18 per month in handset repayments for the 16GB iPhone 5s on a 24-month contract. The 32GB iPhone 5s will cost an extra $22 per month on top of the plan, while the 64GB version will cost an extra $30 per month. That $60 Every Day Connect plan gets you $600 in eligible nation call credit, unlimited text and MMS as well as 1GB of data.
From there, the cost only goes up.
For the 16GB iPhone 5s on the $80 Every Day Connect Plan ($800 in calls, unlimited SMS, MMS, 1.5GB of data and Unlimited Nights on a 24-month contract), the 16GB 5s costs an extra $8 per month, while the 32GB costs $12. The 64GB version costs $21 extra.
On the $100 Every Day Connect Plan ($1000 in calls, unlimited SMS, MMS, 2GB of data and Unlimited Nights and Weekends on a 24-month contract), the 16GB 5s costs $4 extra per month, while the 32GB costs $9. The 64GB version costs $15 extra.
