Starting this week, anyone flying on Royal Jordanian’s routes to the United States from cities like Amman won’t be allowed to bring any electronic device bigger than a smartphone into the cabin. And Royal Jordanian is expressing its displeasure with some next-level subtweets.

Last night the airline tweeted a list of “12 things to do on a 12-hour flight with no laptop or tablet.” And number 12 seems like a direct shot at President Trump and the nonsensical ban.

“1. Read a book,” begins the list that ends with “12. Think of reasons why you don’t have a laptop or tablet with you.”
That reason you don’t have a laptop or tablet with you? Possibly discriminatory practices by the US Department of Homeland Security that nobody can quite make sense of in these difficult times.
Royal Jordanian is clearly not happy with the new rules. Yesterday, the airline tweeted out a little poem about the ban, starting with the words “every week a new ban”.

This isn’t the first time that the airline has take jabs at the US president either. Back in February, the airline mocked Trump’s first attempt at a Muslim travel ban by turning the word “ban” into “bon voyage” with the hashtags #DonaldTrump and #MuslimBan.

Royal Jordanian seems to understand that you have to fight a bully on his own turf to get any respect. And in the case of Donald Trump, that turf is Twitter — the cursed medium that he credits with making him president in the first place.
