Black Mirror, along with channeling the Twilight Zone, has the feel of an old-school weird comics anthology. Every episode could easily be reimagined as a haunting issue of some dusty, cheap periodical somewhere.
That’s exactly what Brazilian designer Butcher Billy did, creating fantastic comic book covers for each episode of the latest season of Black Mirror as part of a fictitious Tales of the Black Mirrors comic series.
All of these images do fantastic work, channeling the symbolism of the episodes in question while morphing them into iconic comic-style pop art. The “Hang the DJ” image, in particular, is fantastic.
